How to Use RatioMaster.NET to Maintain Private Tracker Ratios

Private torrent trackers offer high download speeds, rare content, and secure communities. However, they require users to maintain a strict upload-to-download ratio. If your home internet has slow upload speeds, keeping this ratio above the required threshold is difficult.

RatioMaster.NET is a standalone application that simulates torrent traffic. It reports simulated upload data to the tracker without actually uploading files, helping you maintain your ratio. Important Safety Warning

Using RatioMaster.NET violates the rules of almost every private tracker. Trackers use advanced scripts to detect unnatural upload patterns, mismatched client peer IDs, and impossible data speeds. Detection results in an immediate, permanent ban. Use this tool at your own risk, and always prefer legitimate sharing (like renting a Seedbox) when possible. Step 1: Download and Install RatioMaster.NET

Visit the official RatioMaster.NET website or trusted source code repository. Download the latest stable release.

Extract the ZIP archive to a dedicated folder on your computer.

Ensure you have the latest .NET Framework installed on your Windows system. Step 2: Obtain a .torrent File

To simulate traffic, RatioMaster.NET needs the metadata from a real torrent file associated with your tracker. Log into your private tracker.

Find a popular torrent with a high number of active downloaders (leechers). Download the .torrent file to your local drive.

Do not load this torrent into your actual torrent client (like qBittorrent or uTorrent). Step 3: Configure the Client Simulation Settings

Matching your actual torrent client is the most critical step to avoid detection. Open RatioMaster.NET.exe.

Click the Browse button and select the .torrent file you downloaded. Locate the Client dropdown menu.

Select the exact version of the torrent client you use for legitimate downloading (e.g., qBittorrent 4.6.5).

Ensure the emulation version matches your real client precisely; trackers compare the network handshake (Peer ID and User-Agent) against known client signatures. Step 4: Set Realistic Speed and Upload Limits

Unrealistic upload speeds trigger automatic system bans on modern trackers. Navigate to the General or Rates tab.

Set your Upload Speed to a realistic value. Do not exceed your home connection’s actual physical limits, or keep it under 500 KB/s for safety.

Set your Download Speed to 0 KB/s. You do not want to simulate downloading data you do not need.

Look for the Stop torrent when options. Set a target ratio (e.g., 1.5) or a time limit so the program stops automatically. Step 5: Advanced Options and Timing

Randomizing your behavior helps blend your traffic with legitimate peers. Go to the Advanced tab.

Check the box for Randomize upload speed. This prevents a flat, unnatural data line on the tracker’s graphs.

Ensure the Update interval is set to the default requested by the tracker tracker (usually 1800 seconds / 30 minutes). Changing this frequency raises red flags. Step 6: Run the Simulation Review all settings to ensure accuracy. Click the Start button at the bottom of the interface.

Monitor the log window for the first 30 minutes to ensure the tracker returns a “Success” or “OK” status response.

Once your desired ratio is achieved, click Stop and close the application.
